If you think you may run out of fuel sooner than that, we may be able to deliver your fuel on the same day.

What payment options do you accept?

Sandy Hook makes it easy to pay for your discount heating oil. We accept Visa, MasterCard and Discover at the time you place your order. You can  place your fuel order here .

If the price goes up before I receive my delivery, do I pay the higher price?

Once you place your order your price is guaranteed for the quantity ordered.

My tank is located outside, do I have to worry about my fuel gelling in cold weather?

Our Fuel is treated with winter additive with anti-gelling and water disbursement properties that can help prevent this from happening. Please keep in mind that the possibility of gelling increases with severe cold weather, and this is never a 100% guarantee.

There may be days that Sandy Hook Oil can accommodate this request, but it will be at the discretion of our office. Please contact our office for availability at (732) 708-2196.

Do you provide oil burner service?

What if there is a leak to my tank or its associated piping?

Sandy Hook Oil is not responsible for any leaks from the oil tank, fittings, or associated piping. If you find you have an issue with your tank system, please contact your oil heat mechanic.

What if my tank cannot accommodate the 150 gallon minimum delivery?

Any delivery that falls under the minimum 150 gallon requirement will include a surcharge of $25.

When will I receive my delivery?

Once we receive your order, you will receive a delivery within two business days (holiday and weekends excluded).

Do I have to be home at the time of my delivery? How will I know I received my oil delivery?

Not usually, as long as the driver has access to the fill of your fuel tank. The driver will leave you a meter ticket either on the door or in the mailbox.

What if there is Snow or Ice on my Driveway?

If the oil truck must access the driveway to deliver the oil, it is the customers responsibility to keep their driveway clear for delivery. Also, remember to make sure there is a clear path to the fill so the driver has access.
